Sedation

Sometimes, for complex procedures we might suggest sedation to put you at ease. This is usually done by taking special medication orally or by injection.   You will remain awake throughout your treatment but you will be less aware of what’s going on around you and as a result, you will be far more calm for the duration of the treatment.    

Our approach is such that it is very rare for our patients to need sedation, however if you choose to, it is available.
